DES Capital S.A. (“DES Capital”, “we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard personal data when you visit our website or apply through our confidential application portal. We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

To manage the volume of applications, we may use automated tools to help assess how closely a profile matches a mandate. These tools support our team; they do not make final decisions. Every candidate who is not a clear non-fit is reviewed by a member of our team, and all decisions to progress a candidate are made by a person.
We process your data on the basis of your consent (which you may withdraw at any time) and our legitimate interest in providing executive-search services. Providing a CV and answering the screening questions is voluntary, but necessary for us to consider your application.
DES Capital is an executive search firm: the purpose of your application is to be considered for, and where appropriate presented to, institutions we act for or judge relevant to your profile. By submitting an application you mandate DES Capital to represent you in the market for this purpose and consent to your professional profile and the documents you provide, including your curriculum vitae, being presented in strict confidence to selected banks, independent asset managers, family offices and comparable institutions in Switzerland and abroad, where we consider a mutual fit may exist.
Two protections apply to every such presentation. First, your personal contact details (email address, telephone numbers, messaging handles and social profiles) are withheld from the documents we circulate; an institution can reach you only through an introduction we make once both sides have expressed interest. Second, each presentation is made under conditions of confidentiality towards your current employer.
You may restrict or withdraw this consent at any time in writing to the address in the "Your rights" section, with effect for the future; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of presentations already made. This processing is based on your consent and on the performance of the search engagement you request by applying (art. 6 FADP, and where applicable art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).
We never sell your personal data.
Candidate data and CVs are stored on secure infrastructure hosted within the European Union. Where data is transferred outside Switzerland or the EU, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
We retain your data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, and to consider you for future opportunities, unless you ask us to delete it. You may request deletion at any time.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact info@des-capital.com.
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Confidentiality is central to how we work.
